Moving & Modern Slavery
Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well!!! Can you believe Christmas is in 5 weeks?
I am doing great now.....(now that the move is over). Over the past few days we have been moving houses. I cannot believe all the "stuff" we aquire throughout the years. It is crazy. You know those junk drawers, that when people come over, you just throw crap into, to make it look like you live in a clean house? Well after a few years in a house, I find I have quite a few boxes of that "stuff". Can you relate?
We also moved from a brand new house, which we built, into a house that was built in 1914. It has a 50's kitchen, so I am just going with that vibe. I am done with renovating for now and embracing what this beautiful old house has to offer. I am enjoying the creaky wood floors.
Here is a photo of our new house (built 1914). I just loved the yellow. Makes me feel happy!
I hope all of your lives are going well and you are dealing with the pandemic as well as you can. Please let me know what is new in your lives. I want to hear all about it.
In this email I also wanted to share with you a recent Blog I wrote on Modern Slavery. I had the opportunity to ask some questions to an expert in the field, so I took it. So technically, I did not write this, but simply put it together. But it was truly fascinating. The link is here. We are still working on the creation of the Sustainability Guide for Small Business. It's just taken a lot of time, thus far. I am looking for 6 people to review it and give me your feedback. If you are interested, that would be wonderful. Please let me know!
